Family Open House

Description:A party for children who bring an adult with them to learn about the world of physics. (There's plenty for the grown-ups, too.) Most appropriate for children in grades 3 and up.

Scheduled events:

  • Explore physics concepts with hands-on activities.
  • Watch live physics demonstrations.
  • Ask a scientist your physics questions.
  • Tour the Linear Accelerator gallery and the g-2 experiment (minimum age 10).
  • Tour Fermilab's campus by bus (not handicap accessible).

Registration is not required to attend the Open House. Register only if you wish to go on a tour.
