Science Adventure: Survival Science

Audience: Students , Grades 4 - 6 (In or Completed)
Description:For students completing Grades 4-6. Learn survival techniques in this adventure based on ideas from the BBC "Rough Science" television series. Over the course of four days, you will construct survival gear for everything from purifying water to repelling insects. Build navigation tools and make your own paper and ink to send a message. At the end of your training, compete in orienteering challenges and cook a lunch with your solar oven.
